BuildOps is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company that provides operational software to HVAC, plumbing, and electrical contractors. We have raised over $100 million from top-tier VC firms such as Fika Ventures, Founders Fund, and 01A Advisors, whose CEO Dick Costolo sits on our board. Our remote team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced AE Manager to join our Sales team. Although the role is remote, we strongly prefer candidates located in Los Angeles.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Revenue Operations to join the BuildOps revenue team. This senior leader will play a critical role in driving our growth, optimizing revenue processes, and ensuring the accuracy of our forecasting and planning as we the business and prepare for the next phase of our growth journey.The Director of Revenue Operations will be responsible for implementing best practices, streamlining processes, and supporting strategic decisions to significantly impact the overall revenue efficiency and scalability of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Revenue Strategy & Planning:
    • Lead the Annual Planning Cycle in partnership with FP&A, including setting targets, quotas, compensation plans, and designing organizational structures.
    • Oversee and enhance our forecasting processes, with a focus on improving pipeline management and visibility.
    • Partner with key stakeholders on pricing strategy, ensuring adherence as we introduce additional products and complexity.
  2. Data Insights & Analysis:
    • Develop and maintain GTM reporting, establishing goals, baselines, and warning signals to proactively address potential issues.
    • Own data governance and quality, building an ideal data flow across systems, which will be crucial as AI becomes more integrated into our tech stack.
    • Provide data-driven insights to the leadership team, enabling quick and informed decision-making.
  3. Systems & Process Optimization:
    • Oversee the technology stack for GTM teams and drive the strategy for system improvements.
    • Ensure the integrity of data across key systems, reconciling as needed.
    • Document and standardize key processes, ensuring that the fundamentals are solid and scalable.
    • Optimize the customer experience across our systems and teams, enhancing operational efficiency.
  4. Enablement:
    • Support the enablement strategy and provide management oversight, ensuring that our teams are equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in Revenue Operations, preferably in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue strategy and operational efficiency at a business of our stage and beyond.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, forecasting, and pipeline management.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively in a lean team environment.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership.
  • Experience with AI integration in tech stacks and a strong foundation in data insights and analysis.
