Role Overview

We are seeking a Director, Training & Onboarding to lead the onboarding and training

experience for customers in Japan. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for

ensuring that new customers successfully adopt DNK’s platform through structured onboarding

processes and tailored training programs.

This is a key leadership role focused on supporting sales execution and long-term customer

success by accelerating adoption, reducing time-to-value, and building scalable onboarding

initiatives aligned with the needs of the Japanese market. This position will report to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the end-to-end onboarding and training process for customers in Japan.
  • Work closely with the Head of Sales to ensure smooth transitions from sales to onboarding.
  • Develop and deliver customized onboarding workflows and training content tailored to the Japanese real estate market.
  • Manage customer implementation journeys to ensure timely go-lives and high adoption rates.
  • Lead Customer Success teams to continuously improve onboarding experiences based on feedback.
  • Define, monitor, and report onboarding KPIs including activation rates, customer satisfaction, and time-to-value.
  • Lead, hire, and mentor a growing team of onboarding and training professionals.
  • Contribute to customer retention and growth by providing ongoing training and support initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in onboarding, training, implementation, or customer success roles, ideally in SaaS or PropTech.
  • Demonstrated success managing enterprise-level onboarding and adoption programs.
  • Strong understanding of Japanese real estate and property management operations.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken).
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Tokyo.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with property management platforms or real estate CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with SaaS onboarding metrics and customer lifecycle management.
  • Instructional design or corporate training background.
  • Understanding of APAC real estate markets and cross-border business culture.
