Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Pricing to lead pricing strategy and execution for DNK’s offerings in the Japanese market. Reporting to the Head of Sales - Japan, you will play a key role in shaping how DNK monetizes its solutions by developing market-aligned, value-based pricing models that drive growth, competitiveness, and long-term customer value.

This is a cross-functional role that requires strong analytical skills, deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to partner closely with Sales, Product, Finance, and Executive teams. This position will report to the Head of Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead pricing strategy for DNK’s products and services in Japan, aligned with company growth goals.
  • Conduct market research, customer segmentation, and competitive analysis to inform pricing decisions.
  • Build and refine pricing models for SaaS, platform usage, and service offerings.
  • Partner with Sales and Product to evaluate new offerings and packaging options.
  • Monitor and analyze pricing performance, including win/loss trends, deal velocity, and customer feedback.
  • Own discounting frameworks and deal desk functions to support the sales team with custom proposals.
  • Collaborate with Finance on forecasting, revenue planning, and margin optimization.
  • Provide insights and reporting to the Head of Sales - Japan and global leadership on pricing effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in pricing strategy, revenue operations, or business analytics - preferably in SaaS, tech, or real estate.
  • Proven track record of building pricing models and improving monetization strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen and data analysis skills, including Excel and/or BI tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese business environment and customer mindset.
  • Fluency in Japanese and business-level English (written and spoken).
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Tokyo.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SaaS pricing strategies in the B2B or PropTech space.
  • Background in consulting, pricing analytics, or strategic finance.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales processes and deal structuring.
