Overview of the Role

Sales Development Representatives generate business opportunities for the company by reaching out to potential commercial clients to create a continuous business relationships with them.

They also generate leads for potential Installers to recruit for our Field Team. Additionally, SDR’s provide support to both the Key Account Managers and Field Account Managers, with lead assignment, onsite support and communications.


Responsibilities

A typical day for a Sales Development Representative at Ergeon will include the following:

  • Find and generate leads for both Commercial and Field Accounts.
  • Cold call, email and text prospective Commercial customers to pitch Ergeon’s Value Proposition.
  • Set up appointments with prospective customers and Key Account Managers.
  • Review bid documents for large commercial deals.
  • Create follow up structure and communication for commercial accounts.
  • Monitor, update, and report on daily commercial closes and weekly FAM reports on installer recruitment.
  • Coordinate communication with Key Account Managers and customers.
  • Coordinate unsupported commercial onsites for the KAM team.
  • Coordinate lead assignment for both KAM and FAM.

Desired Skills and Experience

Must have

  • 1+ year working as a Customer Service Representative, Support Agent or Virtual Assistant
  • Negotiation Skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Communication Skills (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
  • Team player with the ability to communicate across functional departments
  • Schedule flexibility, working 40 to 50 hours per week between 8am and 8pm CST - Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

  • Experience as Sales Development Representative
  • Spreadsheet experience extracting and transforming data
  • Experience anticipating and handling objections
  • Quiet and professional work setup.

Compensation

Monthly salary between $1,040 - $1,300 USD

  • A Sales Representative at Ergeon can expect to be making up to $15,600 USD per year.
  • You'll be paid weekly through Upwork (www.upwork.com), the platform we choose to hire and pay our Ergeoneers all over the world.

Additional important information

Location

  • This is a 100% remote position, for people located in Central America, including Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.

Bootcamp

  • World-class Sales Training of 2 weeks including: 1-1 sessions, constant mentoring, teamwork, practical use and understanding of our technical tools, and live exercises to develop abilities.
  • You are going to be able to do a full immersion in the day-to-day job, enjoy our amazing company culture, make great friends, and learn a lot!

Availability

  • The position is full-time, based on a 40 hours week.
  • Availability Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM CST.
