About us:

Handoff is a new mobile & web app for the $500 billion market of remodeling contractors in the US. We use generative AI technology to provide Remodelers a fast, accurate, and intuitive way to create construction cost estimates in minutes. There are 600,000+ contractors in the US who could be the Users of Handoff and we're looking for teammates as passionate as we are to help us win this market.

Handoff is developed by 1build, a venture-backed technology company with origins in Silicon Valley. 1build has established itself as the market leader for construction pricing data and integrations with the top construction materials suppliers. The team at 1build is distributed worldwide and comes from top technology companies such as Apple, Tesla, and WeWork.

As a member of the Marketing team at Handoff, you will:

  • Be our content and social media marketing connoisseur and executer: your job will be to grow Handoff’s organic online presence through content and social media

  • Oversee daily management and execution of Handoff’s content priorities and social channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Reddit, and WhatsApp)

  • Manage and grow our Facebook and WhatsApp communities

  • Build strategies to grow followers and engagement on our key social channels

  • Edit raw video content from our creators into social media optimized posts using basic editing tools like CapCut

  • Distill technical product information into easy to understand, social-friendly posts

  • Evaluate new platforms/trends and advise on opportunities for channel expansion

  • Frequently run data-driven experimentation for different channels, content types, and more

  • Measure the business impact of social media (leads, subscribers, churn) and optimize strategies based on data

  • Produce excellent written content in English that engages readers and effectively communicates the value of our product. Written content, such as that for social media captions, is highly engaging and appropriate to each platform

  • Assist product and sales teams with content marketing collateral, campaigns, and other support as needed.

  • Launch and manage cohesive social media campaigns across our social channels

About you:

  • Prior experience owning daily management of social media channels for another technology company

  • Prior experience distilling technical information into social-friendly content for a non-technical audience

  • Prior experience editing short-form videos with tools such as CapCut and creating visually appealing social media assets using tools like Canva or Figma

  • Tech-savvy, always finding ways to make your process more efficient and effective

  • Excited by the challenge of starting and growing a social media profile from 0 to 1

  • Resourceful and proactive problem-solver, finding workarounds and removing blockers

  • Passionate about being part of a startup environment and rolling up your sleeves to get things done

This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be at our office in Austin, Texas office
