About us

At Leesman, our mission is to make workplaces better. Therefore, in 2010, we set out to provide organisations with the world’s first truly independent measure of employee workplace experience using unique data-driven solutions. Since launching, we have measured over 9,300+ workplaces in 130+ countries and collated 1,300,000+ individual employee responses to our workplace experience assessment tool, giving us the world’s largest independent database of workplace experience.

In 2022 Leesman was thrilled to become part of HqO, whose mission is to connect real estate to the people with an asset-agnostic, cross-property suite of powerful applications and services that foster best-in-class, dynamic end-user experiences.

About the role

Leesman is looking for a Midweight Graphic Designer to join the Marketing & Communications team. As part of the team, you’ll support both the Leesman and HqO brands with creative, visually striking assets that elevate our presence in the market.

Our Marketing and Communications team is responsible for creating regular content that supports nurturing existing clients, attracting new clients, and creating a range of assets that support Leesman and HqO’s commercial teams.

As a Midweight Graphic Designer, you will play an important role in supporting the team with the creation and development of assets used to promote the Leesman and HqO brands. You’ll contribute to dynamic campaigns, spanning digital, print, and presentations, and design, develop, and refine assets to ensure our brand remains consistent, and globally recognized. If you’re passionate about typography, visual direction, and meticulous design execution, this role will allow you to make a real impact and grow towards a senior designer position.

What you’ll do

  • Work with the Marketing & Communications team to create immersive designs, icons, and artwork to represent campaign concepts
  • Contribute to projects from concept stage to final artwork, while ensuring brand development and consistency
  • Develop on-brand commercial design assets with varying formats to be replicated across appropriate channels, digital platforms, social and print media
  • Adapt digital artwork files for digital purposes or to alternative layouts and/or formats; while checking assets are of suitable quality to ensure they meet print and web standards, and implementing adjustments when needed
  • Create interactive reports, forms, and checklist PDFs
  • Develop and maintain PPT decks and Word templates
  • Collaborate on skills and idea-generating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to follow detailed briefs and creative direction, and respond to feedback as well as provide progress updates on project work
  • Maintain and update artwork libraries and archives, providing access to digital assets as required for use by colleagues and on varied platforms
  • Proof and approve media before it’s published, including reappropriating, resizing, and scaling assets
  • Check and verify the quality of proofs for print materials
  • Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure all visual graphics are consistent with brand guidelines
  • Keep up to date with the latest design trends

What you bring

Our ideal candidate is currently at a midweight level and looking to step up to a senior designer position. You'll have a keen eye for detail and will be able to spot potential problems with designs during development and apply any fixes before the completion of the artwork. You can work across a variety of formats and channels, designing and creating artwork for digital platforms and on-screen presentations, offering support for e-marketing and digital media, as well as print.

Qualifications

  • Graphic design qualification to degree level or equivalent
  • 3-4 years minimum industry experience with a strong portfolio of commercial projects showing B2B design
  • Exceptional typography, layout, and visual editing skills with a good aesthetic sense
  • Possess good layout and typographical skills and knowledge of fonts as well as strong retouching and visualisation skills
  • Creative thinker with the ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent organisation, communication, and time-management skills with the ability to work to deadlines across simultaneous design projects
  • Effective team player with the ability to work independently
  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, namely Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
  • Solid experience with Figma
