Kelvin, formerly Radiator Labs, is a New York-based startup focused on decarbonizing legacy buildings by improving heating and cooling efficiency. Our award-winning solution, which combines software, hardware, and data science, helps building owners reduce energy costs and carbon emissions while avoiding regulatory fines. Validated by NYSERDA for saving 25% on heating costs, Kelvin's technology is eligible for utility rebates and incentives. We are also developing a Hybrid Electrification platform that will enable buildings to electrify up to 80% of their heating needs at a fraction of traditional costs.
About the Business Development Representative Position:
Kelvin is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our customer base by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. In this role, you’ll establish and grow relationships with multifamily real estate owners, condo associations, and co-op boards, working closely with Account Executives to drive revenue and provide an exceptional experience for our customers. You’ll also play a key role in meeting lead generation and outreach quotas while preparing to eventually transition into an Account Executive role.
What You'll Do:
- Generate Leads: Proactively research and identify potential customers through various channels (email, phone, social media, events).
- Outreach: Conduct high-volume outreach to generate interest, qualify prospects, and set up meetings for the sales team.
- Pipeline Development: Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and ensure accurate data is recorded in the CRM system.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives to develop outreach strategies and book meetings to meet monthly quotas.
- Growth Path: Learn from experienced team members, with the goal of transitioning into an Account Executive role.
- Conference Participation: Attend real estate technology conferences where Kelvin participates to network and generate new leads.
Who You Are:
- Ideally, some background (educational or professional) in clean energy or sustainability.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

- Flexibility, a positive attitude, and the ability to think outside the box.
