Who We Are: Kelvin is on a mission to decarbonize the world's legacy buildings. We solve a 100-year-old problem: runaway steam heat in multifamily buildings that wastes billions in energy and generates massive carbon emissions. Our software, hardware, and data platform give building owners and co-op boards a proven, cost-effective path to cut costs, avoid fines, and electrify their heating.

Our flagship product, The Cozy, is a smart radiator cover that has been recognized by the MIT Clean Energy Prize, Popular Science Invention Award, Architizer A+, the NYC Department of Buildings, and validated by NYSERDA to save 25% on heating costs. Our Adaptive Electrification platform reduces building heating emissions by up to 80% by automatically switching between electric and legacy heating to minimize costs, without increasing operating expenses.

We are backed by some of the most respected names in climate and tech, including the Schmidt Family Foundation (founded by Google's former CEO, Eric Schmidt) and Laurene Powell Jobs through Elemental Impact. That backing reflects the scale of what we are building and the urgency of building it now.

Who We Are Looking For:

In this role you will establish and grow relationships with multifamily real estate owners, condo associations, and co-op boards to open new accounts, grow revenue, and deliver an exceptional experience from first contact through close.

What We Want You to Do:

  • You will further develop our existing account list and personally source new prospects for our Account Executives to close new business.
  • Develop an understanding of our products and effective outreach strategies to incentivize prospects to meet with our Account Executives.
  • Hit your meetings-booked quota by building a disciplined outreach cadence across calls, email, and events.
  • Attend appropriate real estate technology conferences where Kelvin participates.
  • Build toward closing your own deals. This role is a direct pipeline to Account Executive.
  • Work from Kelvin’s headquarters in the Brooklyn Navy Yard 3 days/week. Work remotely 2/days week.

What We Want to See:

  • Excited about the opportunities and benefits of working in a startup environment in the clean-energy industry.
  • Background in clean energy
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Very strong organizational, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Empathy, curiosity, and excellent communication skills
  • Drive, self-confidence, and resourcefulness

What We Offer:

  • $50k-$55k, plus commission
  • Generous Benefits Package
  • Company Equity
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Paid holidays and flexible paid-time-off
  • All the gear you need to work smart
