About the Role
As the Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our growing team of BDRs and collaborating across departments at Pine. Reporting to the Group Lead, Mortgage Division, you'll work closely with Pine's leadership team to build an exceptional advisory practice, drive originations, and scale our mortgage operations.
In this role, you'll provide hands-on coaching and support to our team of professional representatives, helping them enhance the quality of their advisory services, achieve targets, and continuously improve performance. Operating in a dynamic FinTech environment, you'll also contribute to developing internal practices and expanding our product offerings.

About the Role
As the Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading our growing team of BDRs and collaborating across departments at Pine. What You'll Do
- Lead and Mentor: Manage and inspire a team of BDRs who serve as the front lines of our business, supporting clients through their mortgage journey.
- Foster Excellence: Cultivate a team culture that prioritizes accuracy, efficiency, and promptness in handling financial transactions.
- Monitor Performance: Oversee daily team functions to ensure service levels are consistently met or exceeded.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert: Collaborate with managers, teams, and business units on initiatives relevant to mortgage operations.
- Optimize and Coach: Continuously evaluate BDR performance, optimize team efficiency, and provide tailored training, support, and guidance.
- Drive Improvement: Measure, evaluate, and report on operational performance, proactively identifying areas for growth and innovation.
- Document Processes: Maintain and refine processes to ensure consistency, accuracy, and seamless execution across operations.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the finance industry.
- Management Experience: 2+ years of proven leadership and management experience.
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong preference for business development and mortgage experience.
- Skills and Attributes: Exceptional organizational, analytical, and technical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal abilities to foster trust and collaboration across teams.
- Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently and managing responsibilities without daily supervision.
- Adaptability: Proven resilience in dynamic, high-volume, and fast-paced environments.
