Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Type: Full-time

Overview: Showroom is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of corporate accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly close deliverables.
• Assist with accounting-related system implementations.
• Support compliance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Identify areas for automation, leveraging technology and bringing innovative ideas and approaches to existing processes.
• Maintain and update internal process documentation for accounting procedures and policies.
• Support audit requests during interim and year-end audit cycles.
• Providing training and guidance to other departments on accounting policies.
• Perform special projects, analysis, and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Accounting.
• At least 2-3 years of progressive experience in accounting.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively working towards CPA certification.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including xlookups, pivot tables, and IF functions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within finance and across other departments.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of accounting/ERP software, including NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Quickbooks, and Salesforce.
