What We’re Looking For
Source is looking for their first Head of Marketing, reporting to the Founder & CEO. As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and leading overall marketing strategy, leveraging your expertise to build a strong brand presence, and driving the successful execution of marketing campaigns to accelerate growth. In partnership with the CEO, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and provide strategic insights that will inform decision-making across the organization.
The ideal leader will be a go-getter with a hands-on approach to bringing their strategies to life, while working alongside a small team of marketers (2-3).
The position is a full time, salary, remote role and can be located anywhere within the United States.
Salary for this position is: $180,000 - 200,000 per year.
Responsibilities

B2B Marketing and Marketplace Strategy:
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's vision, values, and goals
Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitor analysis.

Define clear value propositions and positioning that resonate with customers.

Product Marketing:
Collaborate with the product and sales team to develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

Craft compelling product narratives and messaging to drive adoption and customer engagement.

Lead Generation and Demand Generation:
Implement lead generation strategies to build a qualified sales pipeline.

Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead handoff and conversion rates.

Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition:
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and conversion.
Optimize digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

Data Analysis and Performance Measurement:
Analyze marketing performance data to derive actionable insights and optimize campaign performance.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on marketing metrics to the executive team.

Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing remote marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Mentor and develop team members, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Branding and Communications:
Build and maintain a strong brand identity that conveys the company's unique selling points and values.
Develop and oversee the creation of compelling marketing collaterals, website content, and other communications materials.

Ensure consistent messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
Experience and Qualifications
10+ years of experience in marketing for early stage startups or high-growth companies, ideally 5+ years in a leadership role.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, brand management, and customer acquisition techniques to drive growth in a marketplace business, leveraging industry experience.
Demonstrated success in driving growth and achieving business objectives through marketing initiatives.
Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing performance.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
A passion for innovation and the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
