Truehold Financial is expanding its mortgage operations and is hiring an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer with a strong background in DSCR and investor-focused lending. This is a high-impact production role in a fast-paced startup environment—perfect for someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to originate loans quickly and efficiently.
You’ll be supported by marketing, efficient operations, and strong leadership—but you should be ready to roll up your sleeves, work your pipeline, and help us grow a best-in-class investor lending platform.
What You’ll Do
- Originate DSCR, SFR investor, and consumer-purpose loans, delivering a smooth and professional borrower experience
- Manage and convert inbound leads while also building your own book of repeat investors and referral relationships
- Own your production pipeline: prospect, qualify, structure, submit, and close loans with accuracy and speed
- Work closely with internal operations, underwriting, and partners to move each loan from application to funding efficiently
- Identify the best loan structure for each borrower scenario, with strong understanding of DSCR metrics, rent schedule requirements, and investor lending nuances
- Maintain full compliance with internal guidelines and federal/state regulations
- Provide continuous feedback to help refine workflows, improve speed-to-close, and strengthen our investor products
- Represent Truehold with professionalism in the investor community, networking groups, and partner channels
- Hit monthly origination goals and contribute to expanding our presence across multiple markets
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer
- Active NMLS license and ability to qualify as a Qualified Individual (QI) in at least one state
- Demonstrated success originating DSCR and investor-focused loans (required)
- Experience working with LOS systems (Arrive, Encompass, LendingPad) and CRMs (Salesforce a plus)
- Strong grasp of investor loan structuring, underwriting requirements, and closing best practices
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Comfort working in a startup or fast-moving environment where processes evolve and speed matters
- A self-starter mentality with the drive to produce, stay organized, and hit monthly targets
