Itron is looking for a Sr Manager of Product Management & Marketing to accelerate the growth of the outcomes business in the EMEA region, establishing Itron as a leader in the space by bringing advanced outcomes (SW services and solutions across gas, water, electric segments) to market realization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead EMEA go-to-market efforts for Itron’s outcomes and Grid Edge Intelligence solutions across gas, water, and electric segments.

  • Develop customer‑centric market strategies, including segmentation, competitive analysis, pricing guidance, and prioritized target markets.

  • Build and deliver launch plans that include value propositions, commercial models, pricing, competitive positioning, and delivery approaches.

  • Partner with sales to support early selling, key deals, and account strategies, ensuring clear communication of customer value and TCO.

  • Collaborate with product management on solution prioritization and, when applicable, manage full lifecycle for regional solutions.

  • Strengthen partner and channel strategies across EMEA to improve reach and customer outcomes.

  • Represent Itron at industry events and develop inclusive and accessible messaging, collateral, case studies, and sales tools.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a regional team, fostering a collaborative, accountable, innovative, agile, and authentic culture.

  • Use customer acquisition metrics, retention data, and win/loss insights to inform GTM decisions and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years in product management, product marketing, business development, sales, or similar customer-facing roles.

  • Demonstrated strength in product management or go-to-market leadership, including cross-functional collaboration and roadmap execution.

  • Experience leading diverse teams and building alignment across technical and commercial stakeholders, including executive-level engagement.

  • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills; able to integrate regulatory, technical, and business factors into clear strategies.

  • Experience with utility industry challenges, outcomes-based business cases, and consultative selling.

  • Effective communicator able to translate complex topics for both technical and business audiences.

  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions in fast-changing environments.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • MBA or equivalent education/experience; management consulting experience is a plus.

  • Knowledge of utility business models, smart grid and IoT trends, and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience launching outcomes-based, SaaS, or analytics solutions in utilities, energy, or adjacent sectors.

  • Familiarity with Grid Edge Intelligence, distributed intelligence, and distribution operations.

  • Understanding of EMEA utility markets and regulatory environments.

  • Experience building collaborative partner ecosystems and channel strategies.

  • Prior ownership of regional product lines or end-to-end solution management.

  • Multilingual skills relevant to EMEA markets.
